(January 27, 2012: Highland Springs, VA 23075) The Highland Springs Springers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Varina Blue Devils to 55 in the Springers league triumph on Friday.

The Springers now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopewell for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Highland Springs will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 70-49 league win over Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-7.

The Blue Devils (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Armstrong (Richmond, VA). The Wildcats enter the AAA Capital contest with a 10-6 record.
