California High School Basketball - Vista del Lago can't hold off Arlington

(February 7, 2012: Riverside, CA 92503) The Arlington Lions basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Vista del Lago Ravens to 43 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ramona for a Inland Valley contest on Thursday, February 9. Arlington will meet a Rams team coming off a 53-30 league loss to Moreno Valley (Moreno Valley, CA). The Rams record now stands at 2-21.

The Ravens (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against Canyon Springs (Moreno Valley, CA). The Cougars enter the Inland Valley contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, Canyon Springs nudged Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA), 75-66, in a league contest.
