(January 18, 2012: Anchorage, AK 99517) The West Eagles (Anchorage, AK) basketball nipped the visiting East Thunderbirds (Anchorage, AK), 62-57 in Wednesday's league test.
The Eagles (3-9) will now prepare for their test against South (Anchorage, AK). The Wolverines go into the Cook Inlet contest with a 2-11 record.
The Thunderbirds (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Soldotna (Soldotna, AK). The Stars enter the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Soldotna was nudged by Kenai Central (Kenai, AK), 71-67, in a league contest.
