California High School Basketball - St. Augustine fells Scripps Ranch

(January 18, 2008: San Diego, CA 92104) St. Augustine Saints (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA), 48-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Augustine upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Saints travel to La Jolla (La Jolla, CA) to play the Vikings in a Western bout on Tuesday, January 22. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 14-5. La Jolla won 59-32 in their recent non-league bout against Preuss UCSD (La Jolla, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) in a Western bout, on Tuesday, January 22. Scripps Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Centurions come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 47-43 league loss to Mission Bay (San Diego, CA).
