(September 11, 2010: Falcon, CO 80831) The Falcon Falcons (Falcon, CO) softball routed the visiting Gunnison Cowboys (Gunnison, CO), 16-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Falcons (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Sierra (Colorado Springs, CO). The Stallions go into the 4A CS Metro bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Sierra was routed by Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO), 21-0, in a non-league bout.
The Cowboys now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Woodland Park for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 11. Gunnison will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 25-2 league loss to Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
