Florida High School Football - East Bay can't get by Gaither

(October 14, 2011: Gibsonton, FL 33534) The Gaither Cowboys held off the host East Bay Indians football team by a final score of 17-16 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Gaither improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Cowboys host Freedom (Tampa, FL) to confront the Patriots in a 7A District 7 game on Friday, October 21. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 1-6. Freedom lost 28-7 in their recent non-league game against Wharton (Tampa, FL)

The Indians now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Plant City for a 7A District 8 game on Thursday, October 20. East Bay will battle a Raiders team coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Alonso (Tampa, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 6-0.
