Boca Ciega Pirates football team (Gulfport, FL), was ripped
37-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting
Lakewood Spartans (St. Petersburg, FL)
The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against
Bayshore (Bradenton, FL). The Bruins come into the
4A District 9 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge,
Bayshore trounced
Osceola (Seminole, FL),
31-21, in a league challenge.
The Pirates now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host
St. Petersburg for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 3.
Boca Ciega will meet a Green Devils team coming off a
17-16 league loss to
Largo (Largo, FL). The Green Devils record now stands at 2-2.
