Oregon High School Basketball - Regis overwhelms Western Mennonite
(January 24, 2012: Salem, OR 97304) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Regis Rams (Stayton, OR) and the host Western Mennonite Pioneers (Salem, OR), saw Regis's basketball squad trounce Western Mennonite by a count of 57-36.
With the victory, Regis upgrades its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Scio (Scio, OR) to play the Loggers in a 2A Tri-River challenge on Wednesday, January 25. The Loggers come into the challenge with a record of 17-1. Scio won 62-51 in their recent league challenge against Santiam (Mill City, OR)
Next up, the Pioneers play the East Linn Christian Academy Eagles (Lebanon, OR) in a 2A Tri-River challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Western Mennonite will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record.
