Florida High School Volleyball - Pasco Sunlake
(September 22, 2011: Dade City, FL 33525) The Sunlake Seahawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Pasco Pirates to 1 in the Seahawks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Seahawks now possess a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Land O'Lakes for a 6A District 10 game on Tuesday, September 27. Sunlake will meet a Gators team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL). The Gators record now stands at 0-8.
The Pirates (0-8) will now prepare for their bout against Gulf (New Port Richey, FL). The Buccaneers go into the 5A District 8 bout with a 3-11 record. In their last bout, Gulf was topped by Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
