(January 27, 2012: Julesburg, CO 80737) The Sedgwick County Cougars basketball team (Julesburg, CO), was nudged 62-59 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE)
The Plainsmen now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Cambridge for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3. Perkins County will battle a Trojans team coming off a 50-39 non-league win over Alma (Alma, NE). The Trojans record now stands at 8-8.
The Cougars (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against Akron (Akron, CO). The Rams go into the 2A/1A Lower Platte outing with a 9-2 record. In their last outing, Akron got by Holyoke (Holyoke, CO), 67-55, in a non-league outing.
