Arizona High School Basketball - Saguaro edges Mullen
(December 21, 2011: Scottsdale, AZ 85250) The Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO), 47-40 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Sabercats (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Sea Kings go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Palos Verdes got by Marlborough (Los Angeles, CA), 60-54, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry for a non-league match on Thursday, December 22. Mullen will confront a Pumas team coming off a 46-34 non-league win over Fairfax (Laveen, AZ). The Pumas record now stands at 4-8.
