West Virginia High School Football - Pocahontas County topples Richwood
(September 23, 2011: Dunmore, WV 24934) The Pocahontas County Warriors (Dunmore, WV) football defeated the visiting Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV), 41-18 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 30. Pocahontas County will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Chargers enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 35-20 non-league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA).
The Lumberjacks (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Buffalo (Buffalo, WV). The Bison come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Buffalo knocked off Hannan (Ashton, WV), 55-0, in a league challenge.
