Texas High School Basketball - Salado crushes McGregor
(December 9, 2011: Salado, TX 76571) Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting McGregor Bulldogs (McGregor, TX), 50-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Salado upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Eagles host Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 17-0. Pflugerville won 65-43 in their recent league bout against Stony Point (Round Rock, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs encounter the Rosebud-Lott Cougars (Rosebud, TX) in a 2A Region II District 16 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. McGregor will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
