Texas High School Basketball - Liberal ripped by Gruver
(December 13, 2011: Gruver, TX 79040) The Gruver Greyhounds basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Liberal Redskins to 18 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Texhoma for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Gruver will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 56-33 non-league loss to Thomas-Fay-Custer (Thomas, OK). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-3.
The Redskins (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hays (Hays, KS). The Indians enter the Western Athletic match with a 2-1 record.
