Nevada High School Basketball - Damonte Ranch thwarts Menlo-Atherton

(December 28, 2011: Reno, NV 89521) The Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV) basketball felled the visiting Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA), 45-33 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Sobrato went down by Gilroy (Gilroy, CA), 52-42, in a non-league test.

The Bears now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hillsdale for a non-league test on Thursday, December 29. Menlo-Atherton will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 47-41 non-league loss to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA). The Knights record now stands at 3-6.
