California High School Volleyball - Twentynine Palms edged by Desert Hot Springs
(October 11, 2011: Twentynine Palms, CA 92277) The Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles held off the host Twentynine Palms Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.
The Golden Eagles now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shadow Hills for a De Anza test on Thursday, October 13. Desert Hot Springs will confront a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Yucca Valley (Yucca Valley, CA). The Knights record now stands at 7-7.
The Wildcats (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Shadow Hills (Indio, CA). The Knights enter the De Anza test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Shadow Hills was nudged by Desert Hot Springs (Desert Hot Springs, CA), 3-2, in a league test.
