Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Stamford defeated by Trinity Catholic

(February 1, 2012: Stamford, CT 06905) Trinity Catholic Crusaders (Stamford, CT) fans left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT), 7-4 in a league match.

The Crusaders (3-10) will now prepare for their bout against Staples/Weston/Shelton (Westport, CT). The Wreckers go into the FCIAC bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, Staples/Weston/Shelton by Warde/Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT), 6-2, in a league bout.

The Black Knights now sport a 2-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Darien for a FCIAC bout on Saturday, February 4. Stamford will face a Blue Wave squad coming off a 3-2 league win over St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Blue Wave record now stands at 9-3.
