Oklahoma High School Basketball - Purcell can't hold off Anadarko
(January 20, 2012: Anadarko, OK 73005) The Anadarko Warriors basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Purcell Dragons to 61 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mount St. Mary for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Anadarko will meet a Rockets team coming off a 63-55 non-league win over Byng (Ada, OK). The Rockets record now stands at 13-1.
The Dragons (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pauls Valley (Pauls Valley, OK). The Panthers come into the Canadian Valley contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Pauls Valley edged Kingston (Kingston, OK), 46-40, in a non-league contest.
