Texas High School Basketball - Concordia Lutheran thwarts Cooper

(December 21, 2007: The Woodlands, TX 77381) The Concordia Lutheran Crusaders (Tomball, TX) basketball felled the host Cooper Dragons (The Woodlands, TX), 77-62 in Friday's non-league test.

The Crusaders (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Carmel (Houston, TX). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Mt. Carmel defeated Emery-Weiner (Houston, TX), 63-42, in a non-league test.

The Dragons now own a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Antonio Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, December 27. Cooper will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 69-63 non-league win over St. Gerard Catholic (San Antonio, TX). The Lions record now stands at 9-5.
