The Colonials now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ocean Township for a Shore - Federal outing on Thursday, September 21. Freehold Boro will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 21-7 non-league loss to Toms River East (Toms River, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Lakewood moves to 0-2 on the campaign. The Piners travel to Central Regional (Bayville, NJ) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a Shore - Federal challenge on Friday, September 29. The Golden Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Central Regional lost 56-0 in their recent league challenge against Middletown South (Middletown, NJ)
