California High School Basketball - Buena can't hold off Ventura

(January 26, 2012: Ventura, CA 93003) The Ventura Cougars basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Buena Bulldogs to 40 in the Cougars league victory on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 17-3 record. They play next when they travel to Dos Pueblos for a Channel contest on Monday, January 30.

The Bulldogs (18-5) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA). The Dons come into the Channel contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Santa Barbara was nudged by Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA), 55-41, in a non-league contest.
