California High School Basketball - Saugus edges St. Francis
(December 16, 2011: La Canada, CA 91011) The Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) basketball nipped the host St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA), 58-52 in Friday's non-league test.
The Centurions (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Muir (Pasadena, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Muir got by La Canada (La Canada, CA), 50-37, in a non-league test.
The Golden Knights now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arcadia for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17. St. Francis will clash with a Apaches squad coming off a 50-42 non-league win over Schurr (Montebello, CA). The Apaches record now stands at 3-4.
