Texas High School Basketball - Frisco can't hold off Creekview

(January 10, 2012: Frisco, TX 75034) The Creekview Mustangs basketball team scored 30 points and restricted the host Frisco Raccoons to 28 in the Mustangs league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-13 record. They play next when they host Newman Smith for a 4A Region II District 9 contest on Friday, January 13. Creekview will meet a Trojans team coming off a 61-32 league loss to Centennial (Frisco, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 8-10.

The Raccoons (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty (Frisco, TX). The Redhawks come into the 4A Region II District 9 contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Liberty edged Wakeland (Frisco, TX), 59-54, in a league contest.
