(August 26, 2011: Oxford, MI 48371) The Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) football defeated the visiting Lake Orion Dragons (Lake Orion, MI), 41-20 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Southfield-Lathrup Chargers (Lathrup Village, MI) in a Oakland - White bout, on Friday, September 2. Oxford will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Chargers enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 22-14 non-league loss to Pontiac (Pontiac, MI).
The Dragons (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI). The Falcons come into the Oakland - Red challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Rochester knocked off L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI), 42-13, in a non-league challenge.
