(December 6, 2011: Madison, MS 39110) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Madison Central Jaguars (Madison, MS) and the visiting Northwest Rankin Cougars (Brandon, MS), saw Madison Central's basketball squad hold off Northwest Rankin by a score of 67-63.

With the victory, Madison Central improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Pearl (Pearl, MS) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Pearl won 62-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Richland (Richland, MS)
