(January 27, 2012: Lexington, TN 38351) Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN) and the visiting Jackson South Side Hawks (Jackson, TN), saw Lexington's basketball squad knock off Jackson South Side by a score of 59-48.

With the victory, Lexington improves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to McNairy Central (Selmer, TN) to play the Bobcats in a AA District 14 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-1.

Next up, the Hawks play the Lake County Falcons (Tiptonville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Jackson South Side will attempt to advance on its 7-13 season record. The Falcons go into the test with a 10-1 record after their 58-46 league win over South Fulton (South Fulton, TN).
