Texas High School Basketball - West Mesquite thwarts Lancaster
(January 17, 2012: Mesquite, TX 75149) The West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX) basketball felled the visiting Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX), 68-59 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wranglers (16-6) will now prepare for their test against Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Lions go into the 4A Region II District 15 test with a 15-9 record. In their last test, Ennis defeated Corsicana (Corsicana, TX), 43-38, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 12-11 record. They take the field next when they host Ennis for a 4A Region II District 15 test on Tuesday, January 24.
