California High School Softball - East Union bounces Lathrop

(May 5, 2011: Lathrop, CA 95330) East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lathrop Spartans (Lathrop, CA), 9-1 in a league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 12-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sierra for a Valley Oak challenge on Tuesday, May 10. East Union will face a Timberwolves squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Sonora (Sonora, CA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 21-1.

With the loss, Lathrop falls to 2-22 on the campaign.
