Oregon High School Basketball - Gresham can't hold off Douglas

(February 3, 2012: Gresham, OR 97030) The Douglas Scots basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Gresham Gophers to 32 in the Scots league triumph on Friday.

The Scots now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Mary's Academy for a 6A Mt. Hood contest on Tuesday, February 7. Douglas will meet a Blues team coming off a 78-30 league win over Gresham (Gresham, OR). The Blues record now stands at 13-6.

The Gophers (4-14) will now prepare for their bout against Centennial (Gresham, OR). The Eagles come into the 6A Mt. Hood bout with a 8-10 record. In their last bout, Centennial was edged by Central Catholic (Portland, OR), 97-37, in a league bout.
