Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain View can't hold off Marana

(December 6, 2011: Tucson, AZ 85743) The Marana Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Mountain View Mountain Lions to 52 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Rincon for a I Section II contest on Thursday, December 8. Marana will meet a Rangers team coming off a 43-19 non-league loss to Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ). The Rangers record now stands at 0-4.

The Mountain Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy edged San Manuel (San Manuel, AZ), 49-5, in a non-league contest.
