(January 24, 2012: Nacogdoches, TX 75963) In Tuesday's league outing, the Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Pine Tree Pirates (Longview, TX), by a margin of 64-42.
The Dragons (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against Tyler (Tyler, TX). The Lions go into the 4A Region II District 14 outing with a 17-5 record. In their last outing, Tyler smashed Hallsville (Hallsville, TX), 59-52, in a league outing.
The Pirates now own a 0-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kilgore for a 4A Region II District 14 outing on Friday, January 27. Pine Tree will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 64-59 league loss to Marshall (Marshall, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-11.
