(March 1, 2010: Massillon, OH 44646) Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Washington Tigers (Massillon, OH) and the visiting Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), saw Washington's basketball squad hold off Boardman by a count of 43-39.

With the victory, Washington upgrades its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Jackson (Massillon, OH) to play the Polar Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 5. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a record of 18-2. Jackson won 59-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Green (Green, OH)
