Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Cumberland Valley falls to Steelton-Highspire
(January 6, 2012: Steelton, PA 17113) The Steelton-Highspire Steamrollers basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Cumberland Valley Eagles to 39 in the Steamrollers league triumph on Friday.
The Steamrollers now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carlisle for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest on Monday, January 9. Steelton-Highspire will confront a Thundering Herd team coming off a 49-41 league loss to Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, PA). The Thundering Herd record now stands at 1-9.
The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA). The Rams enter the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Central Dauphin lost by Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA), 73-52, in a league contest.
