Arizona High School Basketball - Cactus Shadows holds off Catalina Foothills

(February 2, 2012: Cave Creek, AZ 85327) Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ) and the visiting Catalina Foothills Falcons (Tucson, AZ), witnessed Cactus Shadows's basketball squad tip Catalina Foothills by a margin of 59-58.

The Falcons (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ). The Chiefs go into the II Section II test with a 13-12 record. In their last test, Thunderbird got by Youngker (Buckeye, AZ), 81-41, in a non-league test.

The Falcons now own a 18-7 record. They take the field next when they host Chavez for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Catalina Foothills will clash with a Champions squad coming off a 77-45 non-league win over Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ). The Champions record now stands at 22-4.
