Nevada High School Basketball - Woodbridge holds off Canyon Springs

(December 27, 2011: North Las Vegas, NV 89032) Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV), 66-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Woodbridge upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Clark (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 8-1. Clark won 75-57 in their recent non-league bout against Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 28. Canyon Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Desert Shields come into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 69-65 non-league loss to Basic (Henderson, NV).
