California High School Basketball - Glendale ripped by Saugus
(December 13, 2011: Glendale, CA 91205) The Saugus Centurions basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Glendale Nitros to 48 in the Centurions non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Centurions now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bonita for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 14. Saugus will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 54-51 non-league win over St. Francis (La Canada, CA). The Bearcats record now stands at 7-1.
Next up, the Nitros play the Bonita Bearcats (La Verne, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Glendale will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 56-47 non-league loss to Saugus (Saugus, CA).
