Florida High School Basketball - DeSoto County trounces Fort Meade

(December 8, 2008: Arcadia, FL 34266) The DeSoto County Bulldogs (Arcadia, FL) basketball crushed the visiting Fort Meade Miners (Fort Meade, FL), 66-40 in Monday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Braden River (Bradenton, FL). The Pirates go into the 4A District 10 test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Braden River walloped Avon Park (Avon Park, FL), 51-42, in a league test.

The Miners now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Tenoroc for a non-league test on Thursday, December 11.
