(February 12, 2008: Hope Mills, NC 28348) Grays Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), 73-66 in a league bout.

With the win, Grays Creek upgrades its record to 8-14 on the season. The Bears travel to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC) to encounter the Trojans in a Cape Fear Valley bout on Friday, February 15. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-8. South Johnston lost 80-51 in their recent league bout against Union Pines (Cameron, NC)

Next up, the Hawks encounter the Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC) in a Cape Fear Valley bout, on Friday, February 15. Triton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record.
