(December 20, 2011: Cleburne, TX 76033) Granbury Pirates (Granbury, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Cleburne Yellowjackets (Cleburne, TX), 58-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Granbury upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Pirates host Joshua (Joshua, TX) to play the Owls in a 4A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 3-9. Joshua lost 68-16 in their recent league bout against Seguin (Arlington, TX)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Cleburne will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
