Texas High School Basketball - Waller ripped by Brenham
(January 20, 2012: Brenham, TX 77833) The Brenham Cubs basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Waller Bulldogs to 37 in the Cubs league triumph on Friday.
The Cubs now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Woods for a 4A Region III District 17 contest on Tuesday, January 24. Brenham will meet a Tigers team coming off a 69-55 league loss to Magnolia (Magnolia, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-16.
The Bulldogs (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Montgomery (Montgomery, TX). The Bears enter the 4A Region III District 17 contest with a 19-7 record. In their last contest, Montgomery trounced Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX), 59-47, in a league contest.
