(October 5, 2007: Inez, KY 41224) Clark Cardinals (Inez, KY) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY), 42-14 in a league test.
With the triumph, Clark improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Bell County (Pineville, KY) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league test on Friday, October 12. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 6-0. Bell County won 51-7 in their recent league test against Madison Southern (Berea, KY)
With the loss, Pike County Central drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Hawks host Belfry (Belfry, KY) to play the Pirates in a 3A District 8 battle on Friday, October 12. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 6-0. Belfry won 21-14 in their recent league battle against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY)
