(September 19, 2008: Tampa, FL 33610) The King Lions football team (Tampa, FL), was knocked off 21-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Bloomingdale Bulls (Valrico, FL)

The Bulls (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Plant City (Plant City, FL). The Raiders come into the 5A District 7 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Plant City knocked off Riverview (Riverview, FL), 12-9, in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Durant for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 26. King will meet a Cougars team coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Newsome (Lithia, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
