Colorado High School Basketball - Platte Valley over Lutheran

(January 6, 2012: Kersey, CO 80644) Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Platte Valley Broncos (Kersey, CO) and the visiting Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO), saw Platte Valley's basketball squad knock off Lutheran by a score of 54-41.

With the victory, Platte Valley improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Faith Christian (Arvada, CO) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Faith Christian won 74-61 in their recent non-league challenge against D'Evelyn (Denver, CO)

Next up, the Lions battle the KIPP Collegiate (Denver, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Lutheran will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 73-55 non-league loss to Platte Canyon (Bailey, CO).
