California High School Basketball - Mt. Carmel edges Rancho Bernardo

(February 7, 2012: San Diego, CA 92128) The Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) basketball nipped the host Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA), 69-63 in Tuesday's league test.

The Sundevils (13-10) will now prepare for their test against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Falcons go into the Palomar test with a 15-10 record. In their last test, Torrey Pines got by Poway (Poway, CA), 63-50, in a league outing.

The Broncos now own a 12-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westview for a Palomar outing on Friday, February 10. Rancho Bernardo will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 69-34 league win over Ramona (Ramona, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 19-5.
