Tennessee High School Basketball - Howard Tech can't hold off Tyner Academy

(March 4, 2010: Chattanooga, TN 37421) The Tyner Academy Rams basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers to 51 in the Rams non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Rams now sport a 22-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to York Institute for a non-league contest on Monday, March 8. Tyner Academy will meet a Dragons team coming off a 67-60 non-league loss to Livingston Academy (Livingston, TN). The Dragons record now stands at 18-12.

The Hustlin' Tigers (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Livingston Academy (Livingston, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 28-5 record. In their last contest, Livingston Academy nudged York Institute (Jamestown, TN), 67-60, in a non-league contest.
