New Jersey High School Basketball - Voorhees winner over Montgomery
(January 24, 2012: Glen Gardner, NJ 08826) In Tuesday's league outing, the Voorhees Vikings (Glen Gardner, NJ) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ), by a margin of 42-32.
The Vikings (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against West Morris Central (Chester, NJ). The Wolfpack go into the non-league outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, West Morris Central was beaten by University (Newark, NJ), 66-48, in a non-league outing.
The Cougars now own a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hillsborough for a non-league match on Thursday, January 26. Montgomery will confront a Raiders team coming off a 65-23 league loss to Franklin (Somerset, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 4-9.
