(January 27, 2012: Cary, NC 27519) In Friday's league outing, the Green Hope Falcons (Cary, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fuquay-Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC), by a margin of 73-35.

The Falcons (18-2) will now prepare for their outing against Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Mustangs go into the 4A Tri-Nine outing with a 11-8 record. In their last outing, Middle Creek was trounced by Panther Creek (Cary, NC), 41-37, in a league outing.

The Bengals now own a 1-17 record. They take the field next when they host Athens Drive for a 4A Tri-Nine outing on Tuesday, January 31. Fuquay-Varina will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 45-31 league win over Apex (Apex, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-15.
