(September 26, 2008: Woodbridge, VA 22191) The Freedom Eagles football team (Woodbridge, VA), was ripped 41-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Amherst County Lancers (Amherst, VA)

The Lancers (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rustburg (Rustburg, VA). The Devils come into the Seminole AA challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Rustburg was ripped by Brookville (Lynchburg, VA), 28-6, in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gar-Field for a Cardinal AAA challenge on Friday, October 3. Freedom will meet a Indians team coming off a 23-7 non-league loss to Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA). The Indians record now stands at 1-4.
