Georgia High School Football - Tri-Cities topples Mundy's Mill
(September 23, 2011: East Point, GA 30344) The Tri-Cities Bulldogs (East Point, GA) football defeated the visiting Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA), 24-6 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA) in a AAAA Region 4 bout, on Saturday, October 1. Tri-Cities will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 34-0 league win over Banneker (College Park, GA).
The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA). The Bulldogs enter the AAAA Region 4 battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Mt. Zion fell by Riverdale (Riverdale, GA), 44-6, in a league battle.
