Arizona High School Basketball - Chaparral falls to Desert Mountain

(January 24, 2012: Scottsdale, AZ 85259) The Desert Mountain Wolves basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Chaparral Firebirds to 46 in the Wolves league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolves now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horizon for a I Section III contest on Friday, January 27. Desert Mountain will confront a Huskies team coming off a 64-60 league loss to Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Huskies record now stands at 8-13.

The Firebirds (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Rattlers enter the I Section III contest with a 1-18 record. In their last contest, North Canyon lost by Centennial (Peoria, AZ), 60-45, in a non-league contest.
